Spring is Here !!!

Everyone asks me about the best places to visit in spring. So I’m sharing my top choices. You can decide which place you want to visit. As they say.

“Spring is nature’s way of saying let’s party.” — Robin Williams

Here are some of my picks which I believe will be the best.

1. Antelope Valley, California

The Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve, located about 80 miles north of LA, near the town of Lancaster, is a stunning spring flower destination. It boasts brilliant colors, even in lean years due to winter haze, and is situated between the Tehachapi and snow-capped San Gabriel Mountains at the western edge of the Mojave Desert. Visitors can enjoy the breathtaking scenery via eight miles of trails.

2. Texas Hill County

In the vast expanse of real estate extending west from Austin and north, the rolling terrain of Texas Hill Country pops in spring when the bluebonnets come into full bloom. The bright colors sprout up from the grassy hills along miles of Texas roads, passing through old cowboy towns with spectacular caverns, rivers, and swimming holes along the way.

3. Cherry Blossoms Festival, Washington D.C

This festival happens every year on the 2nd or 3rd week of April. It’s one of the most beautiful times to visit Washington, D.C. Have a hotel or Airbnb booking as early as February. There are many websites that keep on updating the cherry blossom progress.

4. Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Brooklyn NY

Must visit place if you are on the east coast, especially if you are staying in the neighboring state of New York. They host the cherry blossom festival every year, usually at the end of April. It’s advisable to bring a good camera and warm jackets, as the weather can be windy. Below are some of the pictures I took last year.
